what happens to your words
the long version of the short promise.
your journal stays with you. we don't read it. we don't train on it. you can ask for everything to be deleted any time, and it will be.
what we hold
if you signed in with an email, we hold your email so the room can find you again on another device. that's it. if you didn't sign in, your journey lives only in this browser — we don't have it at all.
what we don't do
we don't read your journal entries. no human at limen opens them. they're not used to train any model — ours or anyone else's. we don't sell anything to advertisers. there's nothing to advertise.
what we use to make the room work
we use lovable cloud (a managed backend) to keep your account and your encrypted entries. we use a transactional email service to send the sign-in link. we don't run analytics that follow you around the internet. there are no third-party trackers in the room.
deleting everything
email hello@liminalseason.app from the address you signed in with and ask for everything to be deleted. we'll do it within seven days and write back to confirm. no friction, no "are you sure," no retention loophole.
the held room
the door marked not today logs nothing. ever. it doesn't know you opened it. it doesn't count. that's the whole contract of that room — it would stop being a refuge the moment it became a metric.
letters
the liminal season letter is a separate publication on substack. if you subscribe there, substack holds your email under their own terms. limen the app and the letter don't share data — they share a name and a season, nothing else.
if anything changes
if we ever need to change this, we'll write to you in plain english from the same address above and tell you what changed and why, before it takes effect. if we can't keep the promise, we'll tell you so you can take your words and go.
